$7000 in the Bank... & $100K in Debt for New Trucks!

How this lawn care business in Shreveport, Louisiana is working to break past $500K annual revenue and continue expansion

If you have watched any of my content you know I am not a huge fan of debt, especially when a business owners has little experience.

However, sometimes debt is required to gain initial inertia to get the business off the ground and get your first crew fully booked.

I flew down to Shreveport Louisiana to help Guili and his brother from OX Services.

They have just $7000 in the business checking account but just bought two brand new F-250 trucks totalling to over $100K in loans.

Guili and his team of 4 employees have grown quickly but plateaued their business the pst few years around $500,000 in annual revenue. It seems like a barricade they just can’t get through.

In this turnaround video, we create a plan for OX Services to become a $1,200,000 business with 12 employees over the next 6 years. I outline the 4 ways that a business can be constrained and restrict growth.

I call it the 4L Framework. If a business ever stops growing it is because one of the four L’s are bottlenecked.

1.) Liquidity (More Cash/Capital)

2.) Leads (More Customers)

3.) Labor (More Employees)

4.) Leadership

In this turnaround video, OX Services is constrained by capital and until they can get better working capital and cash-on-hand they will likely continue to plateau and fail in growing the top line revenue.

PS - One of the keynote presentations I am creating for Landscape Summit 2023 is going deep on the 4L Framework and how you can breakthrough bottlenecks and unlock massive growth. Make sure to book your ticket here. Also, book a room at the hosting hotel BEFORE THIS FRIDAY!

Sincerely,

Mike Andes
