My call with Alex Hormozi CHANGES EVERYTHING 👉 ▶️
Last week, I called Alex Hormozi, the guy behind multiple $100M+ brands. In this vlog, I break down the two biggest takeaways from that call and show how I’m applying them inside Augusta Lawn Care. You also get to see BTS of my day running a $54M lawn care business.
The biggest lessons I learned from Alex?
👉 Don't be afraid to promote. People want to support the mission.
👉 Run ads to convert existing leads to customers.
👉 5X the effort is required. Do MORE and BETTER, before new.
Here’s what you will learn from the video. I matched it with each stage of business growth ⬇️
🧤Laborer: You're Making $0–$200K Revenue
Role: Hands-On Operator Doing the Work
“In the past, I’ve always just given everything away for free and expected that people would find my stuff…”
You’re in the trenches—posting content, answering phones, doing the work. You hope it clicks. That’s where I was. I made tons of videos and thought, “if it’s good, they’ll come.” But that’s not how it works.
🔑 Lesson from the episode:
Hustle gets attention. Systems create momentum. If you don’t tell people how you can help, they won’t ask.
âś… Do this:
Add one call to action—everywhere. In your videos, your emails, your bio. Even something simple like “Get a free quote” or “Check out our pricing.”
📋 Manager: You're Making $200K–$800K Revenue
Role: Team Leader & Day-to-Day Operator
“I’m going to make better call to actions like pinned comments, descriptions, emails…”
You’ve got some traction. Now you’re managing it. That means plugging holes—leads falling through the cracks, missed follow-ups, wasted views. That was me. We had traffic but no flow.
🔑 Lesson from the episode:
You don’t need more content, you need content that converts. Your audience won’t act unless you give them a reason.
âś… Do this:
Map out one simple funnel: video → landing page → lead. Test one CTA at a time. Track what works using Facebook Pixel and Google Tracking codes. Remove what doesn’t work.
🏗️ Architect: You're Making $800K+ Revenue
Role: Strategic Leadership & Systems Design
“That’s where I would double down on. And I wouldn’t double down on it. I’d be like—how do I 5x down on it?”
This is where you zoom out. You’re not just working in the business, you’re working on the levers that scale it. That’s what Alex reminded me: If something’s working, don’t ask “how do I do more?”—ask “how do I 5x it?”
🔑 Lesson from the episode:
At scale, effort doesn’t win. Leverage does. That means hiring, systems, and strategy, not just hard work.
âś… Do this:
Pick one growth lever. What is working? ...and turn the volume up. Build the team and tech to support it.
Keep building. Keep growing. Let’s go. 💪
