The Day My Hoodie Almost Killed Me !!️

Exactly 9 years ago, August 4th, I nearly died.

My hoodie got caught in the PTO of a dump truck. In seconds, I was on the ground gasping for air.

Hours later, I was in a hospital bed. Facetiming my crew. Walking them through their next job.

Why? Because I didn’t have systems.

I was doing everything myself:

  • 80+ hour weeks

  • Juggling payroll

  • Babysitting crews

  • Running estimates

  • Walking jobs with customers

Every. Single. Day.

Worst part?

I should’ve never been under that dump truck. I shouldn’t have been on the job site at all.

The estimator should visit the property once to meet the customer. Record a video after the meeting. Upload job notes.

That’s it.

The crew should handle the rest.

That one mistake almost killed me.

And it exposed how fragile my business really was.

So I built systems. And I documented everything.
👉 That became LandscapeBusinessCourse.com — a free training for owners who want out of the chaos.

Don’t wait for a near-death experience to realize your business needs systems.
