What I Learned in a $5000/Month Mastermind 💭

I paid $5,000 per month to be in a mastermind.

The group was made up of business owners doing similar things to me.

What did it include?

✅ Access to a private Facebook group

✅ Annual in-person meeting

✅ Annual virtual training

✅ Monthly coaching call

Was it worth it?

Absolutely.

I was paying down my ignorance tax.

I avoided mistakes that would’ve cost me years of wasted effort and hundreds of thousands of dollars.

What did I learn?

1.) Don’t count other people’s money.

At first, I couldn’t help but calculate the revenue and 80% profit margins of the mastermind organizer. The moment I dropped that scarcity mindset, I got more value from the events and coaching.

2.) Add value before expecting it.

My best connections came 6–12 months after I gave something first—whether a referral, an introduction, or a piece of advice it took me years to learn.

3.) In-person meetups matter.

Being in the same room is different.

You feel the energy.

You observe how people talk, walk, and communicate.

Hard to measure—but that’s where most of my biggest takeaways came from.

That’s why we started the 7-Figure Club at Augusta Lawn Care.

Successful owners, in the same industry, using the same systems.

We talked about tax loopholes, estate planning, exit strategies, and diversification into real estate and stocks.

These photos are from the event. We started the day with a jog.

Because the best moments in a mastermind usually happen outside the classroom.

Oh, and it’s not $5000/month. It is free if you are in Augusta Nation.
